The impact of Active Music on Rotherham Music Hub

Having trained staff and school music teachers at Rotherham Music Hub last October, I was delighted to receive this brilliant testimonial from Deborah Findley.

Tony Chestnut! You have to see this game…and many more!

Tony Chestnut is an accumulative action game using the notes Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So an La. The children sit on the floor, legs in front of them with knees slighly bent up. Actions are as follows….

1: Sing all through

2: Omit ‘toe’. Hum instead of singing ‘toe’ but still do all the actions.

3: Omit ‘toe’ and ‘knee’ etc.  This can be taken as far as required.

This singing game is also well-suited to instruments. The children can take a different instrument for each body part and play accordingly!  You should try it – it’s very funny!! You can find it in Active Music Instrumental activities for KS 2.

I HAVE OVER 500 MORE VIDEO CLIPS LIKE THIS. Some include one game played in 10 different ways. There are so many singing games and so many ways to use each one!

We have researched and gathered HUNDREDS of primary music activities and have placed them all neatly together into lesson plans – for your convenience – in a series of DVDs and CDROMS together with over 150  progressive lesson plans for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This package can seriously help you with your music teaching!

ASK FOR A 2-WEEK FREE TRIAL!            HOW DOES THIS WORK?

We send you the full set of Active Music and pay the postage.  You have 2 full weeks to look into it, examine it, teach from it and share it with your staff.  If after 2 weeks, you decide you’d like to keep it, please do and enjoy years of easy and exciting music teaching!  We will then invoice your school direct and you need not worry!

If, however, you decide it’s not for you, all we ask is that you package it up carefully and pay the postage to return it (full set = £3, half set = £2)

CAN I TRIAL JUST KEY STAGE 1 OR KEY STAGE 2?

Yes you can!  Just make it clear which Key Stage you would like when you ask for your free trial!

WHAT IS THE PRICE?

A full set of Active Music costs £280 but currently we are offering Active Music at a special price of £220, following free trials.  A Key Stage 1 set costs £120 and a Key Stage 2 set costs £140.
